Art should be widely disseminated and accessible to as many people as possible. We strive to ensure that all citizens in Denmark experience the art world as inclusive and relevant to them. Everyone should have the opportunity to take part in the conversation about our shared world, and to encounter and experience art of high quality.

Mission

Therefore, we aim to:

create strong frameworks that enable people across the country to encounter artistic talent and high-quality art
proactively engage in areas of the country where there is potential to strengthen the local arts scene
establish new partnerships with municipalities, local cultural institutions, and others who can help ensure that high-quality art reaches audiences throughout the country
gain a deeper understanding of the geographical distribution of arts funding, both in terms of where applicants are based and where activities take place.
